15 from the Woodpile was a midwest country and bluegrass band, based out of Hartford Kansas.
The self produced album of cover songs was the result of 2 recording sessions
in summer and fall of 2006. Currently the album is in the mixing and mastering phase.
Band Members:
Howard Wood: Lead Vocals, Lead and Rhythm Guitar. (now deceased)
William (Bill) Wood: Mandolin, Vocals
Hank Wood: Bass guitar, Rhythm Guitar, and Backing Vocals
Howard (standing on the right with beard) and Bill (nealing in front) are 2 of the
5 brothers shown in this photo from 1975, and Hank Wood (Not shown)is the son
of Henry Wood (sitting on bike with hat). The other 2 brothers are Chet on the far
left, and Allen (Hoss) in the middle, back.
